Acrylic fabrics resemble wool and are often blended with wool. Most acrylics are washable. Dry cleaning is acceptable. If washing the item, use warm water and wash on gentle cycle. Also, to prevent pilling, turn garment inside out before washing. Sweaters should be left dry on a flat surface to maintain shape. If care label permits drying, then dry on low temperature. Iron on medium if necessary.
