Silk thread, secreted from the larva of a moth, is the strongest of all the natural fibers. Dry cleaning is recommended because some silk dyes will dissolve in water, causing color bleed/transfer. If washable, test for colorfastness, wash with mild detergent on gentle cycle and air-dry.
Protect silk by storing it away from light and insects. Perfume, strong deodorant, and perspiration can damage fibers, so always clean silk garments after wearing.
Store will close at 9pm when facility is unoccupied. Management reserves right to close early for LSU home games, holidays and extreme weather conditions. Please call (225) 767-5720 for changes in the regular schedule.
